Latinos are still largely voting Democrat. Those in the south, like Tejanos, are better, but nationwide Democrats are still leading. I would hope this might dissuade the GOP from pushing amnesty, but they can always come up with an excuse for that.

@emeriticus Regardless of how any demographic votes, the GOP should be against amnesty. In FL, there are a lot of Hispanics who will vote GOP because they find *Democrats* too extreme. We have been successful leaning in to the “culture war” issues that GOP in other states may shy away from.


@emeriticus And, interestingly, Governor DeSantis’ opposition to illegal immigration and criticism of mass immigration in general has not made him less popular with Hispanics in FL. It’s the opposite The conventional “wisdom” (of grifter open-borders consultants) on this topic is just wrong
